Starting care online can feel unfamiliar. This is a plain walk-through of what usually happens, so you know what to expect before you begin.

1. A secure intake

You share your health history, current medications and goals from home. The more complete this is, the better your provider can understand your situation.

2. Provider review

A licensed provider reviews your information and decides whether more information, laboratory testing or a consultation is needed. Not every patient will qualify for treatment.

3. Questions worth asking

  • What are the potential benefits, risks and alternatives?
  • How will follow-up and monitoring work?
  • What should I report between visits?

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. Telehealth does not replace emergency care.

This article is for general education and does not replace individualized medical advice. Treatment is prescribed only when a licensed provider determines it is clinically appropriate.

Ready when you are

Start with a provider review.

Begin with a secure consultation and let a licensed medical provider determine what may be appropriate for you.
